The marriage of Paige and Scott... a story with an unexpected twist. This gorgeous couple had originally planned to marry in Cheshire and combine the occasion with a surprise naming ceremony for their daughter, Pia. However, somewhere in their careful planning, overcome by impulsiveness, they eloped to Marrakesh on holiday and married in secret... with only their parents involved. So when Paige got in touch to discuss their big day, I was delighted to hear the exciting turnaround in the plan for the days proceedings. Now, as the day unfolded, guests arrived for a naming ceremony for gorgeous Pia after which (whilst the couple swiftly swapped outfits!) their attention was directed towards a screen where they watched Paige and Scott tie the knot in Marrakesh. To a chorus of complete amazement and delight from everyone the married couple then swept into the room to renew their vows in the presence of their joyous friends and family with the ceremony conducted by a most wonderful celebrant. What an incredible day it was, filled with tears of happiness, surprise and overwhelming joy. A twist to the expected story which was only ever going to end happily ever after.
As Paige and Scott proved, there are no rules to the day. Follow your heart, be guided by your spirit, be true to yourself, be bold... and buck tradition!
